What is the Reinvestment Plan?
The PMG Reinvestment Plan provides investors with the opportunity to invest the net proceeds of cash distributions, payable on their existing investments managed by PMG, in fully paid units in the PMG Generation Fund.
What are the key benefits?
PMG’s Reinvestment Plan allows investors to:
An example of compounding returns:
Compounding returns provide ‘interest on your interest’ – interest in the next period is earned on the principal sum invested, plus previously accumulated interest. For example, if you invest $100,000 in PMG Generation Fund, that currently has 5.8% monthly returns, in 12 years you could have approximately $200,000 and after 24 years approximately $400,000.
How does it work?
Once PMG receives a Reinvestment Plan participation notice from an investor, an electronic cash wallet is set up in their personalised Investor Portal account. On the day an investor would have been paid a cash distribution, PMG will pay the net cash distribution into their cash wallet account instead. Distribution statements will reflect this.
On the first business day of each month, PMG will then take the cash from the cash wallet and automatically issue the number of new, fully paid units in PMG Generation Fund. The funds will be taken from the cash wallet in multiples equal to the minimum threshold (currently one PMG Generation Fund Unit is valued at $1) in order to purchase Units. For example, if you have $500.05 in your cash wallet, you will be issued 500 Units in PMG Generation Fund (which is rounded down to the nearest whole number). The remaining $0.05 will stay in the cash wallet until the following month when additional net cash distributions will be transferred to the cash wallet.
At any time, investors can make additional cash contributions to their cash wallet account. Keep in mind it can take 48 hours for your cash wallet to reflect any top-up amounts.
Cash contributions received three business days prior to the reinvestment date will be included on the reinvestment for the same month.
An investment confirmation of the transaction will be issued to investors on the day after the reinvestment is processed.
How do investors enrol?
Please note: If the investors do not have existing units in PMG Generation Fund, they are required to purchase a minimum unit subscription of 1,000 units and fill out an application form.
