Stephen Williams, Head of Asset Management

Experienced leasing and senior asset manager, Stephen Williams, has been appointed the head of asset management at PMG – one of New Zealand’s most trusted unlisted property and funds managers.

Steve has been a property professional for 26 years since completing his property degree (BA Hons) in the UK in 1989. Before emigrating to New Zealand, Steve worked in central London for 7 years for Chesterton International managing property owned by the UK’s two largest land owners (The Church Commissioners for England and The Crown Estate). Shortly after arriving in New Zealand in early 1998, Steve was employed by New Zealand’s largest listed property company, Kiwi Income Property Trust (“KIPT”), where he worked for almost eight years as Asset Manager and then National Commercial Leasing Manager.

In early 2006, Steve established his own commercial property consultancy and has since then been providing services to various commercial property clients, particularly landlords, owners and investors in the Auckland and Wellington markets. Based in PMG’s Auckland office, Steve is focused on adding value for PMG’s investor and tenant clients alike, by developing and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships between owner and occupier in buildings managed by PMG. He is a Licensed Agent under the Real Estate Agents Act 2008 (REAA) and a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).
