As part of PMG’s growth strategy Denis transitioned to the role of non-executive director and chair following the appointment of Scott McKenzie, as chief executive in 2013. Denis and Scott with the other three members of the executive team have successfully grown PMG’s portfolio significantly in the last seven years. PMG now manages a portfolio valued at over $400 million of funds under management

Denis is a member of the Property Institute and was the Chairperson of the Property Council Bay of Plenty from 1996-2000.

Scott holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Valuation and Agribusiness Management, a Post Graduate Diploma in Management, and holds several personal directorships.

Scott is vice president of the Property Council Bay of Plenty, board member at Priority One, and is a member of Enterprise Angels and the Institute of Directors.

Daniel joined the team in 2015 following the merger of his property management company with PMG. Daniel’s role is to source new investment opportunities as well as project manage the repositioning and redevelopment of specific assets.

Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science from Otago University and is a Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.

With Nigel at the helm of PMG, the company became one of only a handful of unlisted property funds managers to attain a Managed Investment Scheme Licence from the Financial Market Authority (FMA). His leadership of PMG’s compliance is crucial to the Anti Money Laundering Act (AML) and FMA regulations regarding public investment.

Nigel is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Canterbury.

His experience includes professional appointments such as chairman, company secretary, director and chief executive for several companies across New Zealand and oversea, including NZX companies and local government entities.

Wayne is managing director of Pacific Advisory Services, a company which provides governance, and risk and asset management advice to its clients. He is also a fellow and mentor of the Australia New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) and a fellow of the Institute of Management New Zealand (IMNZ).

Investor Relationships

Alongside the wider Investor Relations team, Matt focuses on building and maintaining strong personal relationships with all of PMG’s investors and is the key point of contact for those across the central and lower North Island regions. The team is also responsible for promoting new investment opportunities to investors and improving PMG’s secondary market across all of the company’s existing funds.

Steve holds a property degree (BA Hons), is a Licensed Agent under the Real Estate Agents Act 2008 (REAA) and is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).
