Denis McMahon

Denis McMahon - Chairman of the Board

Denis began his career in the public sector and held several property management positions with Auckland and Bay of Plenty territorial authorities. In 1992, he joined a leading commercial realty company in Tauranga alongside establishing PMG.

Denis wanted to offer a specialised, professional service in the area of managing industrial, retail and commercial property. In 1994, Denis syndicated his first property in Tauranga and has overseen in excess of a further 30 investment offerings.

As part of PMG’s growth strategy Denis transitioned to the role of non-executive director and chair following the appointment of Scott McKenzie, as chief executive in 2013. Denis and Scott with the other members of the executive team have successfully grown PMG’s portfolio significantly in the last seven years. PMG now manages a portfolio valued at over $650 million of funds under management

Denis is a member of the Property Institute and was the Chairperson of the Property Council Bay of Plenty from 1996-2000.

Scott McKenzie

Scott McKenzie - Chief Executive Officer & Director

With over two decades in business and 10 years specialising in funds management and commercial real estate, Scott is the driving force behind PMG’s innovative strategy.

He honed his leadership skills in the banking sector, both in New Zealand and the UK, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Valuation and Management from Lincoln University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Waikato University.

As Director and CEO of PMG, he utilises his expertise in strategy, people leadership and culture to successfully lead the team. In addition, Scott is a board member of Priority One (Tauranga’s economic development agency), founding board member for Urban Taskforce for Tauranga, principal founding Trustee for PMG Charitable Trust, founding Director of Forsite (health and safety app), and recently served as Vice-President of the BOP Property Council.

Nigel Lowe

Nigel Lowe - Chief Financial Officer & Director

Nigel joined the PMG team in August 2016 after spending 13 years at accounting firm KPMG. He led a team in the Private Enterprise division, looking after a significant number of small to medium business, with a focus on compliance and business transactions.

Nigel’s role within PMG is to strengthen and provide additional capability to the senior management team across financial reporting, compliance and assistance with future property acquisitions.

With Nigel at the helm of PMG, the company became one of only a handful of unlisted property funds managers to attain a Managed Investment Scheme Licence from the Financial Market Authority (FMA). His leadership of PMG’s compliance is crucial to the Anti Money Laundering Act (AML) and FMA regulations regarding public investment.

Nigel is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Canterbury.

Dr Wayne Beilby

Dr Wayne Beilby - Non-Executive Independent Director

Dr Wayne Beilby joined the Board of PMG as a Non-Executive Independent Director in September 2017. With over 15 years’ experience in the financial services industry, he brings extensive management and governance experience.

Wayne holds a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) from Southern Cross University in New South Wales, a Bachelor of Law from the University of Otago, and a Bachelor of Arts at Victoria University. He also has a specialised Master of Business Administration (MBA) in finance and risk from Deakin University in Melbourne.

His experience includes professional appointments such as Chairman, Company Secretary, Director and Chief Executive for several companies across New Zealand and overseas, including NZX, PNGX and ASX listed companies and local government entities.

Wayne is Managing Director of Pacific Advisory Services, a company which provides governance, and risk and asset management advice to its clients. He is also a Fellow and Mentor of the Australia New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) and a Fellow of the Institute of Management New Zealand (IMNZ).

Tony Pitt

Tony Pitt - Non-Executive Director

Tony joined PMG’s Board as a Non-Executive Director following 360 Capital Group’s 50% equity partnership with PMG in February 2021. Tony is Managing Director of 360 Capital and brings valuable funds management and deep investment expertise to the PMG Board.

Originally from Taupo, he has successfully built his career on both sides of the Tasman. Over the last 15 years, he has overseen the initial public offering on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) of three Australian real estate investment trusts, the creation of various unlisted funds, facilitated several company acquisitions and the ASX listing of 360 Capital Group (which oversees $1.4 billion of managed funds). Tony also brings a wealth of management and leadership experience to the PMG Board.

Tony has formerly held numerous senior roles and directorships at Mirvac Group, James Fielding Group and Paladin Australia. He also held positions at Paladin Australia Limited, Jones Lang LaSalle and CB Richard Ellis.

He graduated from Curtin University, Western Australia with a Bachelor of Commerce in Property, and has a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.

James Storey

James Storey - Non-Executive Director

James joined PMG’s Board as a Non-Executive Director following 360 Capital Group’s 50% equity partnership with PMG in February 2021. As the Head of Real Estate at 360 Capital Group, James has in-depth knowledge and passion for real estate and investment, bringing further property and funds management expertise to the PMG team.

James has 15 years of experience in real estate funds management with significant experience investing across debt, equity and corporate transactions. In his role at 360 Capital Group, James is Fund Manager of 360 Capital REIT (ASX:TOT) – the real estate arm of 360 Capital Group. James is also a non-executive director of Velocity Property Group (ASX: VP7).

Prior to 360 Capital, James held the role of Investment Manager at Brookfield Office Properties, Senior Analyst at Valad Property Group and worked for Ernst & Young within its Transaction Advisory Services team.

James has a Bachelor of Business in Property Economics from the University of Western Sydney and a graduate certificate in applied finance and investment. He is also a licensed real estate agent and qualified valuer.

Following PMG’s 50% equity partnership with 360 Capital Group, Glenn joined the PMG Board as a Non-Executive Director.

With over 25 years of transactional and financial management experience, Glenn is the Chief Financial Officer of Australian-based listed company 360 Capital and provides governance and support to the PMG Board around the financial strategy and future growth.

Glenn joined the company after 11 years at Mirvac, where he was Financial Controller of the Investment Division that handled listed and wholesale managed funds and partnership structures.

Glenn is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce.

Jonathan Cameron

Jonathan Cameron - Non-Executive Independent Director

Jonathan is an innovative, entrepreneurial and commercially astute senior management executive and advisor providing intelligent, robust and insightful advice around strategic and financial matters. His skills enable long-term corporate and strategic development for PMG, increasing shareholder and economic value with a strategic future-growth agenda.

His extensive corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, valuation and financial advisory experience comes from his various roles, including Head of Corporate Development and Planning for Air New Zealand, Senior Manager of Merger and Acquisitions for Ernst & Young, and Manager of Corporate Finance for PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Jonathan is currently also the Managing Principal and Director for Elevate Capital Partners, and Director for VetEnt, Dunedin Airport, Tupu Angitu and Waipa Networks among other appointments.

He holds a Master of Commerce in economics from the University of Auckland, with first-class honours.

Daniel Lem

Daniel Lem - Head of Investment

Daniel’s role is to lead the acquisition of new investment opportunities across PMG’s funds, as well as project manage the repositioning of specific assets.

Daniel is a real estate professional with over 22 years of experience in asset and project management, commercial leasing and structured property finance. A previous Director and Head of Tenant Representation for Jones Lang LaSalle, Daniel represented tenants including Microsoft, IBM, Unisys and the New Zealand Government.

Prior to returning to New Zealand in 2010, Daniel partnered with a London based investment bank to form Danube Property Funds I and II, where he acquired and managed a commercial office portfolio across eastern Europe. Upon returning to Auckland, Daniel formed his own property and project management business, which was later merged with PMG in 2015.

Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science from Otago University and is a Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.

Matt McHardy

She takes pride in her interpersonal skills, managing long-lasting relationships with her clients, team members and service providers.

Steve Williams

Steve Williams - Head of Transactions

Steve Williams has over 26 years of property expertise and joined PMG in 2016 in the role of Head of Asset Management. Transitioning to Head of Transaction role in May 2020, Steve’s key responsibilities are to drive the major acquisitions and disposals of properties for PMG.

He has worked for New Zealand’s largest listed property company, Kiwi Income Property Trust (KIPT), working for almost eight years as Asset Manager and then National Commercial Leasing Manager. Steve established his own commercial property consultancy in 2006 prior to joining PMG.

Steve holds a property degree (BA Hons), is a Licenced Agent under the Real Estate Agents Act 2008 (REAA) and is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).

Bridget Lem

Bridget Lem - Head of People, Communications and Culture

At PMG, Bridget’s role is to develop and lead a supportive and effective people (Human Resources) function within PMG’s growing business. Bridget is also responsible for PMG’s overall reputation and voice in the market, providing communications and marketing advice to the executive team and implementing public relations and communication initiatives for all PMG’s stakeholders.

Bridget has over 20 years of experience in corporate and marketing communications and public relations both in NZ and abroad. Throughout her career, Bridget has developed and implemented the communications and marketing strategies for financial services firms Visa, Sovereign/AIA NZ, ASB and ANZ. While working for global energy firm BP in London, Bridget was instrumental in providing communications counsel to senior executives around large company restructuring, redundancies, legal and health and safety issues, and Black Swan crisis communications.

Rory Diver

Rory Diver - Investor Relationships Manager – Waikato, Auckland and Northland

Rory joined PMG in November 2019 after returning from London where he worked as a Real Estate Fund Accountant for a NYSE listed Asset Manager before joining Lloyds Development Capital as an Investment Data Analyst. He brings considerable financial services experience having previously worked for KPMG as an Auditor and BNZ in Commercial Banking.

Rory is a qualified Chartered Accountant and is currently studying towards becoming an Authorised Financial Advisor. He returns to the Waikato after completing his Bachelor of Management Studies (Hons) there in 2011 and works with Waikato and Taranaki based clients to help them achieve their investment goals with PMG.

Ben Cant - Investor Relationships Manager - South Island

Joining PMG in January 2020, after working at ANZ for four and a half years, Ben attributes much of his business acumen and success in management to the skills he learnt on the field, both coaching and playing semi-professional cricket in NZ and the UK.

Matt Topham - Investor Relationships Associate - Tauranga

Matt's key responsibilities encompass organisational customer service and communications support to the Investor Relationships team. With academic knowledge of property finance and investment, alongside experience in relationship management in both the private and public sectors, Matt brings a unique lens to the team while ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of investment services for the investors of PMG.

After receiving a Bachelor of Property from The University of Auckland, Matt went into a Property Management administration role at a private hotel and commercial property investment company in Auckland. Prior to joining PMG in 2021, Matt was a Property Manager at CBRE Australia and part of a team managing the Sydney Harbour Foreshore (Circular Quay, The Rocks, and Darling Harbour) portfolio of over 150 tenants.

Massimo assists the Asset Management team across daily tasks including rental reviews. Steve Williams

Steve Williams - Head of Transactions

Steve Williams has over 26 years of property expertise and joined PMG in 2016 in the role of Head of Asset Management. Transitioning to Head of Transaction role in May 2020, Steve’s key responsibilities are to drive the major acquisitions and disposals of properties for PMG.

He has worked for New Zealand’s largest listed property company, Kiwi Income Property Trust (KIPT), working for almost eight years as Asset Manager and then National Commercial Leasing Manager. Steve established his own commercial property consultancy in 2006 prior to joining PMG.

Steve holds a property degree (BA Hons), is a Licenced Agent under the Real Estate Agents Act 2008 (REAA) and is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).

Jamie Reid

Jamie Reid - Head of Operations and Business Improvement

Jamie joined PMG in 2019 having significant experience across a wide variety of industries, including senior leadership roles in large corporate organisations, to owning and operating small to medium businesses.

Jamie is responsible for the leadership and performance of PMG’s Asset Management and Business Improvement Teams. He is passionate about developing long-term customer relationships, and overall people and business improvement. As a qualified Chartered Accountant, Jamie also brings a strong commercial focus to his work.

Brian Berry

Brian Berry - Asset Manager – Private Contracts

Brian is charged with managing and growing PMG’s private management contracts for landlords and owners of commercial properties.

Brian commenced his own mortgage broking business in 1985 and initially operated largely in the commercial property financing market. The business evolved into Mortgage Works in 1995 to include residential finance. His 30-year history in the finance sector and involvement with the establishment (1997) and management of the NZ Mortgage Brokers Association, including as the Chairman (2002-2004), Brian was recognised for his contribution to the Mortgage Broking Industry in 2006 and was for three years the sole advisor representative on the Association's Disciplinary Committee.

Brian holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accountancy from Otago University and with experience managing multiple commercial properties, he is well-positioned to leverage his knowledge and expertise for the benefit of PMG’s clients.

Matt White

Matt White - Asset Manager

With this background in the building industry, Matt has a proactive approach to both project and property management. He assists in all aspects of the administration of PMG’s Central North Island property portfolio, adding value to investments and caring for our tenants.

With a Bachelor of Business Studies from Massey University, majoring in Valuation and Property Management and minoring in Finance, Matt brings both his academic and practical expertise as a qualified carpenter and Project Foreman to PMG.

Lloyd Clark

Lloyd Clark - Asset Manager

Lloyd is a well-rounded property professional and has considerable retail management experience. While at CBRE in London, Lloyd managed a portfolio of retail assets, consisting of two shopping centres and four FRI Supermarkets. At Peer Group Plc he worked across a portfolio of assets including three retail schemes.

Lloyd has a Bachelor of Commerce Management majoring in Valuation and Property Management from Lincoln University. He has a passion for building relationships and achieving superior results across the Auckland based PMG portfolio.

Hayley Barnard - Asset Manager Administrator

Hayley is a highly organised leasing and property administrator with over 15 years’ experience in the commercial and industrial property sector. She has a natural ability to engage effectively with all stakeholders and assists the Asset Management Team with daily tasks, including vacancies, leasing, renewals and rent reviews.

Prior to immigrating to New Zealand, Hayley worked for JT Ross & Son (PTY) Ltd for 10 years, which is the largest privately-owned property company in South Africa.

Prisillia Woe

Prisillia Woe - Property Analyst

Pris is a detail-driven analyst, bringing together analytical and financial skills to provide unique investment considerations for commercial property. Her responsibilities as part of the Asset Management Team include information management, data analysis for key transactions, financial analysis, and due diligence of property acquisitions, along with bi-annual and 10-year budgeting.

Before joining PMG in 2020, Pris worked at NZX50 listed company Stride Property as an analyst, which has a $2.3 billion portfolio of assets under management.

She has a Bachelor of Property from the University of Auckland, and is currently studying to become a chartered financial analyst.

Sacha holds an Associate Degree in Real Estate from MPC in California. She has an extensive background in the marketing and events sector, both in NZ and abroad. Throughout her career in both the public and private sector, Sacha has considerable experience in the development and implementation of successful direct and indirect marketing methods and distribution.

Bridget Lem

Bridget Lem - Head of People, Communications and Culture

At PMG, Bridget’s role is to develop and lead a supportive and effective people (Human Resources) function within PMG’s growing business. Bridget is also responsible for PMG’s overall reputation and voice in the market, providing communications and marketing advice to the executive team and implementing public relations and communication initiatives for all PMG’s stakeholders.

Bridget has over 20 years of experience in corporate and marketing communications and public relations both in NZ and abroad. Throughout her career, Bridget has developed and implemented the communications and marketing strategies for financial services firms Visa, Sovereign/AIA NZ, ASB and ANZ. While working for global energy firm BP in London, Bridget was instrumental in providing communications counsel to senior executives around large company restructuring, redundancies, legal and health and safety issues, and Black Swan crisis communications.

Bridget holds a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in marketing from Otago University, and a Post Graduate Diploma in public relations and communications from Auckland University of Technology
