When the directors of AA Auto Centre Takanini, Gurpreet Thind and Teejay Basra, set out to build a business, they weren’t just focused on vehicles; they were driven by a passion for creating credible, customer-first experiences in the automotive industry. From Warrant-of-Fitness (WOF) and servicing to pre-purchase inspections, they saw an opportunity to raise the standard and deliver trusted solutions under the AA Motoring brand.
As the business grew, so did the need for a space that could support their vision. Accessibility, parking, and layout were non-negotiables.
“We knew we needed a site that was easy to get to, safe to navigate and future-proofed for growth,” says Teejay.
PMG worked with the team to fit out 7 Inlet Road which would enable them to do just that. “PMG gave us a clear renovation schedule, stuck to deadlines and helped us transform the site into a space our customers love. We’ve had great feedback on the accessibility, parking and overall look.”
The new facility has already made a tangible impact. With room to expand the workshop and a spacious reception area, the team is now introducing AA Centre services – offering licensing, vehicle registration and more to the local community.

Their advice to other service businesses? “Finding the right space takes time, but with perseverance and the right mindset, it’s absolutely possible.”
